As Shop Manager and Lead Artist, Annika is the backbone of our creative community. When she isn’t crafting her own pieces, she’s sharing her mastery as our Apprentice & Artist Manager, mentoring the next wave of talent with precision and heart.

Alex

As an original founder and part-owner of Slowpoke, Alex is a cornerstone of our identity. Renowned for her incredible hand-poke designs, her creativity doesn't stop at the skin; she is a talented photographer and a deeply connected in the Austin art and music community. 

Taylor

Black ink only from Ms Tay! With a focus on sharp contrast through saturated blackwork that make her fun and trad-esque designs really pop. She takes a lot of inspiration for her flash from vintage cartoons and photography, as well as the greats of American Traditional tattooing for key elements in her designs. Whether you want to gab it up, or lock in with some head phones on, Taylor is there for whatever you need during your appointment. Offering both custom designs or a selection of flash to choose from, she is ready to bring your tattoo visions to life!

Molly

Molly is an incredible machine artist specializing in bold black and grey tattoos that feature striking contrast and intricate shading.  As a proud queer artist, Molly is dedicated to maintaining an LGBTQIA+ safe space. She creates a welcoming, inclusive environment where every client feels comfortable and celebrated.

Katie

Katie is a versatile machine artist known for her vibrant and illustrative style. A cornerstone of the studio’s education program, she also teaches our machine apprentices, sharing her technical precision and creative expertise with the next generation of talent. 

Megan

June is a longtime Austinite! A machine artist that adds magic into every tattoo piece. Perfect to get anything whimsical and cute.You can also find anime, doodles, color and more. If you have a vision for a custom piece she can work with you to make that dream tattoo come to life.

Elari

Elari is skilled at both machine and hand poke tattoo techniques. Their work is inspired by nature in all its forms, plant, bug, and animal alike, even on the microscopic level. They enjoy creating pieces that accentuate the human form with organic, dark yet whimsical designs. As a queer non-binary latine person, supporting the community and creating a safe space for every person and body is the most important part of their work. 

Jon Jon

Jon Jon is a machine artist renowned for their mastery of fine line micro-realism. Their work is defined by an incredible level of precision, capturing super-detailed imagery from miniature portraits to complex architectural and botanical designs. Jon Jon prioritizes the client experience, taking the time to talk through every design detail to ensure the final piece perfectly aligns with the wearer's vision.

Moving to Austin from Oakland, Alysha is a talented machine artist with a unique and expressive style.
